 Time Saver I used this tool to clean up some Karaoke Zip Files, and it probably saved me about 4 days of Man hours. Very Handy, make sure to watch the video. The only thing I couldn't do was switch artist and song around without changing the whole tag, which could be that I'm still a rookie.
 Not Good I was looking for a file re-name program that would shorten the name of a file that was invalid because the filename was longer than 255 characters. Your program was a waste of time to download and install. It is now un-installed.Stephen.
 Huge data. Can not rename a huge number of files. For example can not rename 50000 tif files which in same file.
 Excellent!!! I found this software very useful! Help you to save lots of time and you don't have to rename files manually anymore. You also can add numbers or delete them if necessary.
Was not what I needed The program was good at what it was probably written for. Only problem, it didn't address the problem I was trying to solve.

This is the best program I have found to rename files. It gives you every option on renaming that you can imagine. I had used ACDSEE's automatic rename when transferring pictures and videos, but recently got an AVCHD camera, which ACDSEE does not support. I have been able to use THE Rename to get exactly the same file name types as with ACDSEE.

NameWiz review I decided to give this a try since we deal with 1000s of images at any given time. Installation was easy and straight forward and the software did a great job of re-numbering several hundred images on a test directory. I'll certainly be recommending this software to my students in my next class that starts in January.

Namewiz review. This program is a really strong utility, but the MP3 -features are a little bit weak.
That`a all i need I've been looking for a swiss knife for my folders management especially in naming it and finally I found NameWiz is really accomodate all my desire. There's no other software can do better than NameWiz. Download and feel it, then You'll be in my side !

Genius product I love BRU. Solves bulk re-naming problems easily. The GUI is a little scary when you first see it, but the help manual is great, and once you get the hang of the software (eta 5 minutes) it's a brilliant, simple application. Highly recommended.

bulk rename review - jon This utilty is easy to use and very flexable, i had an unusual application, i needed to rename all the folders called video_ts (back ups of my dvds) to something else to stop my media streamer blocking access. this was accompleshed easly no other freebee i tryed could do it!

 Wow, at first I thought this was the answer to my problems, but after using it 10 or 15 times, I realized it was deleting about half the files in the folders I was working in; fortunately, I was working in a copy I'd made. I decided to reboot and try again...same problem. I think this product has potential; the interface was great, features seemed to suffice, and it was definitely easy to use, so I can't complain about any of those...just too buggy.

This is a great product but is too expensive. I downloaded it as it said its free but got a trial version that will only do 99 songs before it pauses and makes you wait for approx 440 seconds each time you want to rename another 99 songs. I have a lot of files to change: approx 10,000 and decided i would see how much it costs. Its over $50 AUS. If it was around $20 I would have paid it! and im sure im not the only one. These guys would make more $'s by reducing the price as more would actually afford to buy ...
Disk has arrived, book later? I purchased the offering after downloading the program. It said a book would be included for the additional $29.95. Where is the book.
